Travel Healthcare Insurance Solutions Inc. operates as “StudentGuard™ Health Insurance” and GlobalGuard™ ("We" or "Our" or in this privacy statement). When We Collect, Use and Disclose Personal Information
Non-Optional Collection, Use and Disclosure
Typically, we collect, use and if necessary disclose personal information about individuals only to the extent necessary to provide and administer requested products and services or to provide requested information. For example, we collect and use personal information, as required to process and respond to a request for an insurance premium quote and we also collect, use and forward to the insurer, the personal information provided in any application for insurance and in connection with claims. We may have to collect personal information from independent sources when processing an application for insurance or in handling a claim.

Optional, Collection and Use for Marketing Purposes
Sometimes, we may collect or use personal information for the optional purpose of offering upgraded and additional insurance products and services.

Consent
When an individual requests an insurance premium quote, applies for insurance, or submits a claim, such individual is consenting to the collection, use and, if necessary, the disclosure of personal information as described in the “Non-Optional Collection, Use and Disclosure” section. An individual is always free to decline or revoke his or her consent to this type of collection, use and disclosure or personal information, but in that event, the products we distribute and related services may be unavailable, discontinued or declined. An individual may always decline or revoke consent to the optional use and disclosure of personal information for marketing purposes, as described above, at any time by contacting us as set out below.

Confidentiality
To protect confidentiality, we will limit access to personal information to those of our employees and agents who are responsible for the administration of the insurance we distribute and administer. We will provide information to any person authorized by law or when necessary in the event of fraud or suspected fraud.

Access and Accuracy
We endeavour to keep information accurate and up to date but we also rely on our customers to keep us apprised of any changes. An individual may request to review and if appropriate correct, his or her information which is held in our offices.

Visiting Our Internet Sites
There are also certain issues which are germane to the usage of our internet site. When a user goes directly to our site and from page to page in our site, reads pages or downloads content onto a computer, we learn which pages are visited, what content is downloaded, and the address of other sites visited immediately before coming to our site. However, this information is compiled only in the aggregate and will not be used to identify an individual. We use this information to find out how many people visit this site and the frequency with which pages are visited.
